The BD 23G x 1" Safety Syringe with SafetyGlide Hypodermic Needle, Thin Wall is a medical device used to administer injections or draw blood from a patient. The syringe has a capacity of 1 milliliter and a 23-gauge (G) needle, meaning the needle has a small diameter for a less painful injection. The syringe also has a safety feature called SafetyGlide, which helps prevent needle stick injuries. The thin wall design of the needle allows for smooth and easy penetration into the skin. BD 305902 SafetyGlide Safety Needles are design for single use and cannot be reused. These needles have a 23G x 1" size and are made from stainless steel. The SafetyGlide feature a tri-bevel point which helps to reduce the risk of accidental sticks.
The SafetyGlide Syringe by Becton Dickinson, and Company (BD) comes with a 23 gauge detachable needle and measures 1 inch long.
The syringe has a subcutaneous injection needle and a regular wall and bevel. The needle detaches easily, allowing the syringe to be reused several times. The syringe can be used by caretakers, as well as patients who self-administer medicine.
