Description
Sodium Chloride Ophthalmic Ointment 5% is an eye medication used for a variety of conditions involving the cornea and conjunctival membranes of the eye, such as recurrent corneal erosions, ulcers, or dystrophies as well as after any eye surgery and to adhere contact lenses in place. Sodium Chloride Ointment should be used at bedtime or as directed by a physician after minor eye surgery and whenever there is dryness, discomfort, irritation, or a red eye is present, to provide a protective barrier between the surface of the eye and the outside environment. As a lubrication agent, Sodium Chloride Ointment provides relief for red, dry, irritated, tired, burning, or itching eyes and helps protect from inducing symptoms by creating a moisture barrier on the surface of the eye. Applying Sodium Chloride Ointment offers decreased secretion, blurry vision, discomfort from cornea damage, and the sensation of having something lodged in the eye.

Sodium Chloride Ophthalmic Ointment 5% (Muro 128) is formulated for individuals who experience swelling of their cornea, or corneal edema.  The ointment will aid in treating blurry vision and enhance your clarity.
