Diltiazem Hydrochloride

Diltiazem Hydrochloride is primarily used to treat high blood pressure and angina. By relaxing and widening the blood vessels, it helps reduce the strain on the heart. Diltiazem Hydrochloride may also be used to treat atrial fibrillation or other heart rhythms and reduce the symptoms associated with them. As a calcium channel blocker, Diltiazem Hydrochloride relaxes the heart muscles leading to improved heart function.
