Alaway 12-Hour Eye Drops is a over-the-counter medication used to treat itchy eyes. The active ingredient in Alaway is ketotifen, which is a histamine blocker. Histamines are chemicals that are released by the body in response to allergens, and they are responsible for the symptoms of allergies, such as itchy eyes. Ketotifen blocks the action of histamines, which helps to relieve the symptoms of allergies.
Alaway Antihistamine Eye Drops by Bausch and Lomb will provide instant relief of itchy, irritated eyes due to allergies. This fast-acting, sterile eye drop solution will last up to 12 hours. It is prescription strength, long lasting and can be used along with your regular allergy pills. The 10 mL bottle provides a 60 day supply.
