The Plak-Vac Oral Suction Toothbrush also has a built-in water reservoir that cleans the brush head after each use.
Plak-Vac Suction Toothbrush is a oral suction tool used to remove oral secretions and mucus from the airways. Designed to connect a suction machine aspirator to remove mucus from the mouth and throat.  Plak-Vac allows the removal of debris, plaque, bacteria and fluid from the mouth of patients who are unable to swallow or have difficulty swallowing and expectorating. Soft bristles gently on the gums, teeth and other tissues in the mouth. Suction level is controlled by a finger control port located in the Plak-Vac handle.

Fantastic Machine!

After my wife's surgery she has had difficulty swallowing and was choking on her saliva. A very well respected Dr. prescribed medication too help dry up the saliva, yet came with significant side effects. She was very sick the next day and discontinued immediately. I then thought of sitting in a dentist chair and thinking of them using a suction tube to remove saliva and had an 'aha' moment! Thought, why couldn't this work for her? Went online, found Mountainside Medical and ordered this machine. Wallah! She uses it several times a day and no longer has ANY choking spells or the very scary breathing episodes. 2 things...it was delivered in about 3 days and was several hundred dollars less than a local medical supply store. It is definitely a LIFE CHANGING piece of equipment and will look to MM for any further medical supply needs.THANK YOU!!!

Absolutely love this item! My son is not able to protect his airway and is an aspiration risk. So, we have to be careful with excessive amounts of water and secretions .We have tried all types of brushes and this one is a winner for us! The bristles are the perfect size for a teeth clincher. It allows us to brush and rinse his teeth a syringe, while conveniently suctioning excess secretions at the same time.
