It is used for inhalation to help moisten and loosen mucus in the respiratory tract, making it easier to cough up. Sodium Chloride Inhalation solution comes in small vials for single use and is used with a nebulizer machine to create a fine mist that can be inhaled. It is commonly used in the treatment of respiratory conditions such as bronchitis, cystic fibrosis, and emphysema.
