I have seizures, and often bite my tongue. But for those who have bridge work, or anything like that, this is not a good thing. During a seizure, our strength is beyond our own knowledge. I could bit through a bone if you put your finger in my mouth. If you pulled on my arm, you'd break my bones. However, I have used these things and they have broken my upper bridgework before, years ago. So I don't suggest this to anyone. Just be careful. There used to be a softer one many years ago called "BITE." It was a disposable Jawlock for oral control, by Halbrand, Inc. It did the job, but was not hard on the teeth; a thick, firm yet softer way to engage, but protect the teeth.
