Description

Promogran Prisma Matrix Silver is a wound dressing that incorporates silver oxide with ORC (regenerated cellulose) to help promote healing of chronic and acute wounds. Silver has been known for its antimicrobial properties, helping to create an environment that is less hospitable for bacteria to thrive in. ORC is a natural polymer that helps provide structural support to the dressing and helps to absorb exudate (fluid from the wound). The combination of these two ingredients helps to promote a moist wound environment, which is believed to aid in the wound healing process. The dressings also contain collagen, which can help promote cell growth and restore damaged tissue. The silver content helps to provide an additional layer of protection against infection. Promogran Prisma Matrix Silver is suitable for a variety of wound types, including wounds that are infected or at risk of infection.
