Flimsy construction. Leaks.

These are prone to leaking where the tubing connects to the needleless injection site. Flimsy construction. Don't use them on a patient who is going to move around a lot. It's a great design for administering meds, but they don't hold up to much moving around. The tubing is very thin, and you can't use them for high-flow fluid administration.The open end of the tubing doesn't have a self-sealing connection, and if you disconnect it from the main IV tubing, that end is wide open, risking contaminating the fluid pathway for the patient if you have to disconnect the IV. So... great design idea, but poor execution.
