How to Order:
Sodium Chloride 10% for Inhalation Solution is a sterile, non-pyrogenic, aqueous solution of sodium chloride for inhalation. It is a 0.9% solution (9 grams of sodium chloride per liter) of sodium chloride in purified water. The solution has a pH of 5.0 to 7.0. The solution is a clear, colorless to slightly yellow liquid.
Sodium Chloride 10% for Inhalation Solution is a hypertonic solution. The solution exerts an osmotic pressure that draws water from the tissues into the solution. This causes an increase in the volume of airspaces in the lungs, which leads to an improvement in the patient's breathing.
Sodium Chloride 10% for Inhalation Solution is indicated for the temporary relief of shortness of breath due to bronchospasm.
