Description

One-Sided Wound Contact Layer Dressings are wound dressings made of a non-adherent material, such as silicone or polyurethane foam, with one side coated with a gentle silicone-based adhesive. These dressings are designed to protect a wound while minimizing pain and trauma during dressing changes. The 3 x 4 inch size is suitable for small wounds, and the dressings are sterile to prevent contamination. The silicone adhesive helps the dressing adhere securely to the skin without causing damage or irritation, and also allows for easy removal without damaging new tissue growth. These dressings are commonly used for a variety of wounds, such as surgical incisions, abrasions, and non-infected ulcers.
