Replicare Hydrocolloid Wound Dressings are excellent for the treatment and management of open skin wounds including ulcers, pressure sores, donor sites, surgical incisions, and 1st & 2nd  degree burns. These hydrocolloid dressings are convenient, flexible, offer a high level of patient comfort, and are designed not to stick to gloves for easy application.

Contraindications: Not for use on third degree burns.

Application:

Cleans the wound site with saline or wound cleanser and dry the periwound skin. Center the dressing over the wound and press the edges firmly leaving 1" of overlap with wound edge. 

Removal:

Gently remove the dressing by supporting the dressing with one hand and pulling the edges away from the center parallel to the skin surface. Dressing may stay in place for up to 4 days.

This wound dressing has special cohesive properties that allow the wound to be free of potential dressing residues, in addition to a waterproof film exterior that helps prevent bacteria from entering the wound. Complete with bevelled edging, this dressing offers a lower possibility of painful snags due to being caught on bedding or clothing, and these wound dressings are also extremely flexible, which allows them to adhere to skin better and increasing the length of wear.
