Description

A silicone foley catheter is a hollow, flexible tube made of medical grade silicone. It is used to drain urine from the bladder and is inserted through the urethra into the bladder. The catheter has small openings on the sides and a balloon at the end, which is inflated inside the bladder to keep the catheter in place. It is intended for single use only and is sterile to prevent infections.

Dynarex Silicone Catheters are completely latex free and cause less tissue irritation than traditional catheters during extended periods of indwelling use. The Silicone Catheters feature a clear color, allowing for visualization of clots, mucus and urine flow. These Catheters are a standard, 2-way tube with large, smooth eyes offering maximum comfort and better drainage.

Latex-Free All Silicone Urinary Catheters are flexible, non-latex, sterile foley catheters that are used to drain urine from the bladder. These catheters are made with a clear radiopaque (x-ray friendly) silicone material and they do not contain any latex proteins so they are safe to be used on patients that have latex allergies and/or sensitivities to latex. These two-way foley catheters are available in 5cc and 30cc inflation balloon sizes for use with both male and female patients.
