What is a Robinson Catheter?

Each type of catheter on the market is designed for a specific purpose. The Foley catheter, for example, features a balloon that inflates inside the bladder to prevent it from slipping out. This is used when a patient needs to have a catheter in for an extended period of time. This Red Robinson Catheter does not have the balloon, therefore it is intended to be an intermittent catheter – used only when needed.
